Each new employee is trained and made aware of ethics as soon as they arrive and any employee can raise an alert in case of potential violation of the Ethics Charter.
Business ethics
- Respect the legal framework and in particular the Sapin 2 law on transparency, the fight against corruption and the modernisation of economic life.
- Prohibit Corruption: Corruption and influence peddling are illegal, unfair and unethical. It is our social responsibility to prevent and condemn these practices by making our employees aware of the risk situations.
- Anti-competitive Practices: Kwanko ensures that anti-competitive practices are prohibited, including abuse of dominance, unfairly low prices and abuse of exploitation.
- Confidentiality of information: Kwanko takes its image to heart and an internal and external communication policy is organised and structured to ensure that the confidentiality of our partners and employees is respected.
- A relationship of trust with our partners: Kwanko wants to build a relationship of trust and transparency and expects its partners to respect and share the same values such as anti-corruption, fair competition and conflict of interest.
The well-being of our employees
- Health and Safety: All the rules, measures and instructions applicable in terms of emergency and safety are perfectly known by the personnel and strictly respected, in particular the safety instructions concerning the fire-fighting system.
- Respect for privacy: the protection of our employees’ personal data is guaranteed in compliance with the GDPR regulation.
- Equal opportunities: Kwanko is committed to offering equal opportunities to everyone regardless of gender, age, religion, sexual orientation, social status and disability. We have an active policy of recruiting people with disabilities. KPIs: 7% of our employees are disabled.
- Anti-harassment: No employee should be subjected to harassment. The Social and Economic Committee is careful to establish trust with employees, and the management is very attentive to the detection of any case of harassment. A campaign against harassment has also been conducted with posters displayed in the premises and the distribution of governmental infographics.
- Whistleblower: In case an employee notices an infringement of diversity or in case of discrimination and harassment, he/she is obliged to inform the Management and the Ethics Committee within the framework of the whistleblower system which has been set up and annexed to the Kwanko internal regulations.
